On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Aruba hosted a special edition of its General Meeting, dedicated to our annual Membership Drive, at La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino Ballroom. The evening brought together our members and prospective guests for a relaxed and engaging program centered around what it means to be part of Kiwanis.
President Tessely Koolman-Ranis opened the evening with a warm welcome and a reminder of our shared mission to serve the children and communities of Aruba. The Membership Committee, led by Sudi Guda, introduced the evening’s activities and helped guide both members and guests through a thoughtfully planned agenda.
The program featured:
Presentations by Distinguished Lieutenant Governor Giantonio Muller and Distinguished Governor Robert Spellen, offering regional insights and encouragement
Interactive Table Topic Games that gave prospects a closer look at our committees and projects
Speed Networking, which encouraged meaningful conversations and helped guests connect with members
A raffle for prospects who completed their networking cards
A photo area and visual displays showcasing our club’s work and impact
The feedback from attendees was very positive—many members and guests commented on how enjoyable and engaging the evening was, and how it offered a genuine glimpse into the spirit of Kiwanis.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Membership Committee for organizing a well-rounded and welcoming event. It was a great opportunity to share who we are, what we do, and why we do it— with the hope of inspiring new members to join us in service.
Let’s continue to build on this momentum as we grow our club and deepen our impact in the community.
Kids Need Kiwanis. Kiwanis Needs YOU.
